Turn the board a little and press the heat sink against the board with one hand. Now place the cooler with the voltage converter on the circuit board and solder only the heat sink. Screw the voltage transformer together with the heat sink, but don't tighten the screw yet. The potentiometer is now firmly seated on the PCB. It is better to solder only the middle leg, then press the potentiometer on the PCB and heat the solder point again. If this is wrong, the direction of rotation will not be correct later. It's time to solder the precision potentiometer, make sure that the screw matches the print on the PCB. It is best to use a piece of tape to prevent the pin header from falling out when soldering. When soldering, make sure that you press the screw terminals firmly against the circuit board so that they do not wiggle later. Now you have to connect the screw terminals to each other. After you have soldered the resistors, you can cut the overhanging wire. If you turn the board over to solder the resistors, you should put a piece of cardboard on top to prevent the resistors from falling out. Position the resistors in the right place, you don't have to pay attention to the installation direction. Estlcam tutorial pro#
Vectric’s V-Carve Desktop and V-Carve Pro are a great choice for designing and creating your g-code for your projects. We offer Vectric and EstlCAM software through our online store. There are several software/program options for CAD/CAM design. The g-code files are text files that can be computer generated or written by hand. Our CNC routers are like most CNC machines, as they use g-code files. There is plenty of information on the internet about grbl when using the search term “Using grbl.” The firmware loaded on the microprocessor (Keyestudio Controller) open sourced and is named grbl. Currently, we are using Universal G-code Sender (UGS). There are several choices of software and many are open sourced and free. Damage to the cornea or worse to your retina will be permanent. Never underestimate the possibility of an eye injury.

Avoid all direct and reflective contact with a laser beam. Only use eye protection that guarantees an Optical Density (OD) of 5+ or more.ģ. Always wear eye protection that is rated to filter out the wavelength (color) of the laser you are using.Ģ. If you are going to operate a laser engraver remember three simple rules:ġ. While most hobby machines don't use more than a 5-watt laser, whether it be a diode or some other type, the risks for burns or possible eye damage are real and extremely serious. The 100-watt C02 lasers we use for production are specifically designed to contain not only the material we cut but also all the laser radiation in a safe environment. And since our CNC Routers were not designed to be used for CNC laser engraving we don’t recommend modifying them. While it seems logical for BobsCNC to manufacture a laser engraver we have chosen not to. Laser cutting and engraving is a great CNC application. So, it’s no surprise that one of the questions we often hear is if we have a Laser accessory for the Evolution 3, Evolution 4 or the KL series. It’s what drives us to build the best CNC Router kits we can for our customers. There is nothing as much fun as learning to use technology to help you create new projects.
